“Heritage Reimagined”: An extraordinary renovation project
Masterful renovation that has rewritten the history of Italian luxury hospitality with a perfect mix of careful restoration and a new contemporary touch, returning to Florence one of its most elegant and important residences. Here, two opposite souls take shape, in perfect harmony.
On one side, Helvetia remains the keeper of timeless charm: a historically elegant dwelling restored with mastery and enriched with fine fabrics, antiques, and precious furnishings from Italy’s top artisans like Moleria Locchi, Murano glass masters, Rubelli, Antico Setificio Fiorentino, Fiacchini, Anichini, and Il Bronzetto.
On the other side, Bristol, formerly the seat of the Banco di Roma, opens to a new and contemporary language with 25 rooms and suites designed by Anouska Hempel — the pioneer of the “boutique hotel” concept in London — now interpreting seducive, modern design that dialogues with the elegance of Florentine palaces.
Two distinct visions united by a single guiding thread: the exaltation of Italian “Grande Bellezza,” in a perfect balance between historical heritage and innovation, supporting and elevating local craftsmanship to offer guests a timeless hospitality experience.
