The sophisticated allure of our Heritage Suites, some of which offer broad views over the bright, renowned Piazza Strozzi, blends with the glorious history of the period building to offer an unforgettably elegant experience.

Furnished with unique pieces of exceptional value and with a contemporary spirit, our Heritage Suites are composed of two spacious areas totalling 40 square metres: a sitting room area with fine-quality sofas and a sleeping area with a comfortable double bed, in some cases with a magnificent canopy fashioned by Florentine craftsmen. Damask silk fabrics and exquisite silk taffeta drapes frame lovingly restored antique furnishings.

The beauty of the rooms is enhanced by the brass and crystal lamps, specifically designed for the restyling operation, as well as antique-finish wall mirrors and baths in gleaming Italian marble.

Measuring 55 square metres, these rooms offer guests a superior level of comfort, and look onto a particularly quiet area. The Bristol Suites are furnished with valuable, original pieces, such as the occasional tables crafted by hand on an original design by the renowned Florentine craftsman Bianco Bianchi.

These rooms are composed of two spacious areas: a sitting room area with soft, comfortable sofas and a table, and a sleeping area with a bed that in most cases is framed with a magnificent canopy. Some of the Bristol Suites are on two levels, offering a view of the starry Florentine sky from the bedroom. Premium-quality, Italian-crafted silk shantung and velvet fabrics adorn the walls, joined by brass lamps, antique-finish mirrors and Alinari prints illustrating Florence in the mid-19th century, and the splendid Italian marble bathrooms complete the unique features that are the hallmark of Anouska Hempel’s engaging style.

The hallmark features of the bright Emerald Patio Suite Bristol are the emerald green walls, the comfortable sofas, the large dimensions (70 m²) and the private patio.

The large windows allow the light to flood into the sophisticated settings, with a sensual style. The living room area, with its superbly comfortable velvet sofas and striking fireplace, looks onto the patio, a private, green oasis in the open air. 

The sleeping area features a magnificent hand-crafted four-poster bed with fine fabrics. The suite is embellished with drapes in fine taffeta and velvet at the windows, and with black and white Alinari prints illustrating 19th-century Florence. The room is completed with a cosy studio that looks onto the patio, a bathroom with twin washbasin, Turkish bath and shower, and a second bathroom with a marble shell-shaped washbasin.

The beauty of the rooms is enhanced with lamps hand-crafted in brass and fabric on an original drawing, and scagliola tables by Bianco Bianchi.

As guests enter the Iconic Retreat Suite, they are instantly bathed in the light flooding in from the large windows and the small private, furnished terrace where they can sit out and relax during the day. The 70-square-metres room is divided into two areas: the living area, dominated by the large fireplace and the comfortable, enveloping sofas, and the bedroom area, featuring striking marble mirrors shaped by Italian craftsmen.

The windows are framed by drapes in fine taffeta and velvet. The room is completed with a comfortable bathroom featuring a shower and a large Devon&Devon tub, and with an area featuring a writing desk and a spacious walk-in closet.

The unique contemporary ambiance of these luxurious suites echoes the Florentine heritage thanks to the vision of Anouska Hempel and the invaluable contributions of Florence’s master craftsmen. The beautifully appointed Two Bedroom Suites offer spacious living rooms with a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere enriched with spectacular white Carrara monolith mirrors, decorative fireplaces, handmade artwork and furniture ideal for entertaining guests or simply relaxing. The two separate bedrooms, private and peaceful, are richly furnished and feature king size beds outfitted in luxury linens, dressing areas or oversized walk-in closets. Two or three white and grey Italian marble bathrooms with one or two vanity sinks, Monsoon couple showers, deep soaking or stand alone Devon & Devon bathtubs and heated towel rack, highlight a comfortable and luxurious space to get ready in elegance.
