Starting from Sunday, April 5, the restaurant L’Assaggio, whose menu is signed by Michelin-starred chef Ugo Alciati and interpreted by Marco Terenghi, recently appointed head of the kitchen, launches a new Sunday appointment: Pranzo della Domenica. This iconic Italian tradition comes to life in a setting that is both chic and welcoming, in the heart of Paris.
An authentic Italian tradition recognized by UNESCO
Italian cuisine, listed as part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, is celebrated for its convivial spirit, transforming every meal into a true moment of sharing and social connection, far beyond the simple preparation of ingredients.Pranzo della Domenica, an emblematic family tradition, embodies this spirit of gathering around a generous table. Much more than a simple lunch, it represents a cherished ritual and an unmissable moment of sharing and conviviality with family or friends. L’Assaggio invites its guests to rediscover this tradition in an elegant setting accessible to all generations. Each month, Chef Marco Terenghi will present a new culinary creation inspired by the regions of Italy, offering a journey through the richness and diversity of Italian cuisine. A large shared table will also be available for couples or solo guests who wish to enjoy this moment with other diners, in a spirit of meeting, sharing, and conviviality.
